Read an introduction to poetry like rhyme’s reason, read a bunch of poetry, find out which kind you like by first going to an anthology like norton, then after finding out which poets you like, study them a ton and begin writing, imitate your favorite poets, study more, mess with their lines, try to write like them, and just continue. The same way the composer studied other composers, the same way the painter studies his favorite painters, same way the video game takes much from the video games before it, so also must you do the same. You gotta learn the basics and then see your favorite poets as textbooks in the same way that a composer will study Bach as a textbook.

I found Paul Fussell's "Poetic Meter and Poetic Form" to be very helpful. Not often recommended, which I think is a shame. I think you can find a pdf online.

Get into a relationship
Drag the man down, but say it was never your fault.
Break up/divorce him

Then you will have enough self-attributed angst that the poetry writes itself.

Probably the best way to learn poetry is the same as the best way to learn how to rap or write song lyrics: find a piece you like, create a parody or pastiche of it (i.e., the same thing Weird Al does, only not necessarily comedically), and repeat until it gets easy.

And if you haven't already, I'd recommend learning a bit about what the various types of rhymes and rhythms are. Just so you know a few of your options.
