Yeah, that's why it's important to differentiate between behavior and ethnicity.
Niggers get treated like niggers because they behave like niggers, not because their skin color. They simply can't abstain, like in all those police videos where they are told to stay still and the first thing they do is lunge into their car to get the gun.
Black men don't always act like niggers.

>Ethnicity isn't just genetics, it's also culture, history and heritage.
Jews really imagine that they have any relationship to the Hebrews of the bible... so please don't fall into the same trap or mix things up like the communists. Let's be humble and be grateful if in the future nobody acts like a nigger or a stereotypical Jew.

The only book on urban planning you need is unironically Industrial Society and Its Future.
Cities are not efficient. Cities are not sustainable. Urban zones - building, growing, and perpetuating them - are the #1 cause of every problem that exists, from environmental to social to financial.

If you disagree, it's because you have listened to propaganda telling you to cluster into cities and hive yourselves like insects there, so that you are easier to abuse, as that is the only efficiency an urban zone provides.

I 100% agree with you if we consider current cities (lousy excuses for internal migration).
But consider Free Imperial Cities, which had no option but to be independent and self-sustaining by virtue of not having bureaucratic relations with princes or abbots (who held the rest of the land in the Holy Roman Empire). No wonder Napoleon had to destroy said system in 1792 and free the juice all over Europe.
Imagine how comfy it would have been to go from Free Imperial City to Free Imperial City on highways guarded by the Emperor's men (against horny Princes and mischievous Abbots) and doing your thing. Truly a 4chon of the 17th century.
By these standards the maximum sustainable size of a city is around 20.000-30.000 souls and absolutely no apartment buildings.
>The territory of most Free Imperial Cities was generally quite small but there were exceptions. The largest territories formed in what is now Switzerland with cities like Bern, Zürich and Luzern, but also cities like Ulm, Nuremberg and Hamburg in what is now Germany possessed substantial hinterlands or fiefs that comprised dozens of villages and thousands of subject peasants who did not enjoy the same rights as the urban population. At the opposite end, the authority of Cologne, Aachen, Worms, Goslar, Wetzlar, Augsburg and Regensburg barely extended beyond the city walls.

Glass architecture is fucking hell when there is a lot of sunlight.
Even in winter when the sun is shining, rooms with large windows will be way too hot, and when the sun isn’t shining, the glass tends to be cold, unless it is double or triple paned and insulated.
To use a lot of glass, you need way better climate control systems than with masonry or lumber.

This is my picture and these books are from my room. Never had someone save and re-post my images in another thread. I think this is the peak of my 4 wasted years on 4channel.

As someone more interested in understanding NYC as the first case study for the implementation of "neoliberal" policies, Fear City is a better rec than Holtzman's Long Crisis. Both unravel how failed municipal government gave way to the bankruptcy fiasco ("Ford to NYC: Drop Dead) that allowed corporate/free market-oriented governance to fill the void. Holtzman spends lots of time talking discussing the reaction on the ground. In other words, conflicts between intra-city actors like unions, racial groups, political elites, and so on. Fear City shows the takeover of the Big Apple from the powerful agents behind the scenes. It's very much a "Shock Doctrine"-esque book.

Here. Have another /lit/ trio on NYC. Icebergs, Zombies, and the Ultra Thin is a really cool analysis of the monstrosity of contemporary architecture. As for The Power Broker, see: >>20393779

I love contemporary trad architecture but Christopher Alexander is overly sentimental, basically trying to found architectural theories on the basis of “I know it’s good architecture because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy”. It makes for boring reading and bad theory. (RIP nonetheless).

Despite that Robert Venturi was an awful architect, he was a much better writer about the complex relationships within classicism. “Complexity and Contradiction in Architecture” is probably the most meaningful book on Classical architecture ever published in the modern day.
