Yes it's a meme book, notice how people make memes about how "badass" it is. It is probably one of the most overhyped sci-fi books I have seen. There are places where the story feels like it skips around too much, like book 4 which could have been longer. and other times it feels like characters get killed off just to be edgy like in book 3. But I think it is still a good series. However the ending is super dumb. If you don't understand what characters are saying you can look at the lexicon urthus but only look at the sections you have trouble with because it contains spoilers.
