What makes you say that? I liked Bernie but I've been out of politics for a while. What did he do?

>> No.20352475

>>20352453
Not him but he completely sold out and bent over backwards to get fucked in the ass by the Democrat establishment and suck its dick at the same time

Got completely screwed out of the nomination in a way that was transparently crooked to the entire country, then cucked like a good little boy and supported those who did it to him, betraying his own supporters for whom he was a symbol of rebellion against that very crooked establishment and its willful torpor

I think the funniest for me was when he cooperated with the Biden administration's nominations even to the point of ratifying Neera Tanden (was that her?) who is a crony politico and had humiliated him in the past

His legacy is robbing his own movement of all its momentum at the critical moment when it had placed all its faith in him, he could unironically have changed the course of American history. I say all this not giving a fuck about Bernie or stupid incrementalist social democrat bullshit, I am just saying it's obvious even to an outsider looking in.

Doesn't it go back to Plato, writing that having everything in common ownership as well as having all women and children belong to all men equally.
It was a dumb idea that everyone made fun of at the time and since.

As I just said, the issues mentioned are very popular with people that describe themselves as Republicans, Democrats and independent.
Include ending the wars and you have a small sliver of arms manufacturers who might not be on board, but most people would have voted for Tulsi too if not for her being pushed aside like they so obviously do.

The origins of socialism is just the embarrasing failure of the capitalism and the fact that not everyone can be brainwashed into being a full on capital cuckold, unlike most of the retards on here who probably worship Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk as little mini gods

>>20354018
Its a sham. I always thought Occupy Wall Street was a load of horseshit from the start. Most people who can afford college in America are usually are from families who at least somewhat well off, during the oughts all I did was mop floors as a janitor, I couldn't save up enough to get in.

I think his overall strategy is correct. Basically he beats the drum but closes ranks on election day and then goes back to beating the drum, introducing more people to those ideas as more and more people get disgusted with politicians. And even a lot of self-described socialist people saying Bernie "betrayed" them were introduced to those ideas via his campaigns in the first place, so I think they'll grow out of it, since I think those people are more at war with the person they were yesterday. Bernie as a man isn't so individually important.

>>20354018
I think part of it is intellectual overproduction where the U.S. system has produced a lot of people like her but doesn't provide jobs for them so they become rabble rousers.

(I think the same phenomena is mirrored on the right too)
