I am also thinking about learning how to play the violin or the piano. But I am tending to go for the violin.
But as always time and money are an issue right now. Since I have never played any kind of instrument or learned anything related to music (maybe expect the little things in school that I have alrady forgotten), I thought taking some learning hours would be great. But that shit is expensive as hell...

Well once if got my new part time job, I might try to find a music student who plays violin and wants to earn a few bucks to teach me.

my penis is an instrument of pleasure and i play with it all the time.

I can play piano and guitar tolerably. I'm no artist, but I can read music, play a tune, and choose not to annoy people with the sounds I create. I learned these instruments mainly because I was curious about how to read music and I wanted to understand some music theory. Knowing theory I can reproduce a tune on this instrument or that once I understand how the instrument works, but not with any amount of grace.

I've started to get into it, though. I'd like to develop my skills on the guitar so that i can play delta blues and bossa nova, and improve my piano to be able to play some good ragtime. Scott Joplin, oh man. I can't wait until I can get through Bethena smoothly on piano.

I Played piano for most of my childhood, played xylophone in the school band, played guitar for a little while. I still own two guitars, haven't touched them in ages.

I've been playing piano for 12 or 13 years. Never managed to get anything better than a DipLCM though. Been playing Webern's piano variations a lot lately, good fun.

I can't play any musical instruments, but I'm excellent on the drums.

Self-taught guitar and I sing OK. I've made a few grand in various bands (mostly metal and indie-whatever) but I don't consider myself a player of any instrument.

I play guitar, like any self-respecting white male.

I play the piano for fun, which means I sight read entry level stuff so I don't have to think and ignore all the dynamics. My piano broke last week though and it'll cost more to pay someone to fix it than it's worth.

So now I've resorted to the viola. I haven't played since high school and I don't really remember how. It squeaks awfully every 5th note and I can't stop the bow from bouncing.
