What are you guys currently or planning on reading?

Going to pace myself from now on, so I’ll be just reading a chapter or two. The chapter I read is Daenerys’s fourth chapter, and by far it’s been the best one from her so far. In the sense we get to learn more about Dothraki and the Dothraki sea worldbuilding. But truth be told, I’m tired of Martin just making them caricature of the Mongols, the city was great since it shows they’re okay with actually building something, instead of being nomadic. Daenerys standing up and hitting Viserys was okay if only I grew tired of Viserys shit at this point. But overall, Daenerys chapters have been hit or miss for me.

Yeah, I didn't buy it; Sanderson just comes up with stuff that makes no sense unless you really really suspend your disbelief (specially the military stuff)

A ridiculous story about prosopagnosia /face-blindness that extrapolates from statements like "I don't see race. I only see people."

Spider the Artist - Nnedi Okorafor
In Nigeria, oil corporations are exploiting and slowly killing everyone. Militants kill with impunity. Autonomous drones kill anyone who go by the pipelines. A woman is abused by her husband and considers suicide until one day she befriends a drone. Eventually the drones kill everyone in the town except her because the drone she befriended thinks it cucked her husband and the child is its. Something like that anyway.

Resistance - Tobias S. Buckell
A man and his mercenary set out to topple the dictator of their space colony. This was a warning story about not being grateful about living in a democracy and failing to fulfill your civil duties. It's also a cautionary tale about supporting sweeping reform of any kind.

Keep the same setup of timetravel and the cultivation system but have someone way more restrained by their morality to up the difficulty

Reading Wolfe until I'm sick of it. Finished Soldier of Arete, gonna start The Wizard Knight. I literally forgot I was halfway through The Invisible Man.
