It's an all ages book, in the sense that a "family movie" can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Concepts can be read and enjoyed on face value while also sparking deeper thought for those with more worldly context.
I'm not saying it's a deeply intellectual work, but claiming it's for children seem slightly insincere

I, for myself, much prefer when obvious fiction and fantasy is treated in some self-distancing and humorous manner - like I was a fan of old Christopher Reeve's Superman movies (e.g. some archetypal stupid blonde receptionist was delving in a huge private library of serious books afterhours), but I've managed to watch just one or two of their new endless series of dead-serious superhero nonsense.
