realizing that everything is a social construct and that there is really nothing stopping you from doing what you want. growing up online and coming to the realization that people put the same importance of the quality of a pokemon game as they do on real wars with people dying, ultimately realizing that our day to day lives is a facade covering up the worst atrocities happening currently. Not to mention individualism, less faith in God and country, and generally bring taught that self reliance is the be all end all of life really makes you think about why you should care about anything other than yourself to begin with.
Basically we see all these people (in politics, Hollywood) who can do what they want when they want, and we respond with "why can't I? " Why is the common man held to so many standards when these leaders can just bomb entire countries killing thousands with a press of a button? Why can we give the government a license to steal and kill and control our lives yet if we do anything about we are shunned by our peers?
