Do you guys usually read multiple books at once or do you just stick with one? I'm in the latter camp, mainly because I'm stupid and don't like having to deal with several things at once.

I try to have one each of novel, poetry, nonfiction, and short story going on at once in case I want variety. But I find that the novels dominate my interest, and I like to read one novel at a time. If it's a series with multiple books I like to read other novels in-between.

I read at least three books at the same time (right now it’s five) and often don’t even finish any of them but just pick up another book and drop the old one. Sometimes I crouch down next to my shelf and just take out books that I think are cool and read a few pages and then put them back.

I read two to three at a time. Can get tired of something, especially if it's long.

One of my wife's favorite paintings. I took her to Spain to see it.

I start brewing it by starting a bunch of books in rapid succession, then I put everything on a break and finish the pile one by one
