Chomsky on Foucault
“He struck my as completely amoral,” said Chomsky. “I’d never met anyone who was so totally amoral.”

Dumézil on Foucault:
Georges Dumézil described Foucault as having possessed "a profound kindness and goodness", also exhibiting an "intelligence [that] literally knew no bounds."

Obviously Chomsky. Just watch their famous debate. First 10 minutes answer your questions. Whole debate is gold though.

The difference in their body language alone says enough.

Didn't fuck them, just challenged AOC laws. He was just like all French pomos.

>In 1977, a petition was addressed to the French parliament calling for the abrogation of several articles of the age of consent law. The primary argument behind the petition was the disparity in age of consent created by a previous piece of legislation, which made heterosexual sex legal at the age of 15, but prohibited sodomy and similar acts until age 18.

>A number of French intellectuals including Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Jacques Derrida, Louis Aragon,Roland Barthes, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Félix Guattari, Michel Leiris, Alain Robbe-Grillet, Philippe Sollers, Jacques Rancière, Jean-François Lyotard, Francis Ponge, Bernard Besret, and various prominent doctors and psychologists – signed the petition.

Why this so exclusive to the French is something I still don't get to this day THQH

Foucault was based overall. He was trying to bring philosophy back to Aryan values. Thats why Dumezil respected him.

YOU aren’t saying enough. This is such a vague, hand-waving post. Are you saying that Chomsky won the debate, and if so, why do you think that? Or are you simply saying that Chomsky was right to call Foucault amoral and are making no comment on the content of the debate?

Age of consent has always been feminist bullshit (and protestant but that's basically the same thing). We wouldn't have any of that without outside influence, although it's too late now.

>>20132288
Foucault is based outside of... pic related. His main opponents were marxists. Sartre was livid about Foucault. Althusser and the rest of the marxists didn't like him either. Among serious people he was mostly criticized for some of his historical writings.

The thing about a lot of pomos in general is that they've very heavily criticized liberalism from its foundations and since those are partially shared by communism it also got hit by it. There's a reason why the biggest antipomo people are tankies and "classical liberals".

Chomsky was not anti-pedophilia, he was a Jew after all. Rather, he disagreed with Foucault as Foucault was a radical antinomian in regards to the Liberal power structures that Chomsky supported (as he believed that they were beneficial to the Jewish people). Dumezil was not pro-pedophilia, he wrote pro-Nazi screeds during WW2 because they wanted to hang pedophiles. All he was saying is that Foucault was a kind man haunted by incredibly powerful demons.
