Everyone is so fake and shallow these days. Nobody really cares about anyone else, relationships are so transactional. Any books for this feel?

Everyone really longs for intimacy and human connection. Truly. Everyone is just afraid of putting themselves out there and getting rejected, hurt or embarrassed. Yeah. I think a lot of society is brought up to feel entitled. That fact is if you have negative value, you don’t deserve a partner. Survival of the fittest weeds out undesirables. A lot of the undesirables today really aren’t. They are usually very depressed and if they put effort in putting their life in the right direction and advancing, they would be undesirable
