>Why ?

Because it’s free unlike the physical books, you need to buy them before read them.

>Where ?

In this world.

>How often ?

Every single day, babe.

I keep a couple of epubs on there in case I get stuck waiting somewhere. Hardly my favourite way of reading but it's nice to be able to literally always have certain books with you.

No. It burns my eyes

I prefer physical books but downloading epubs is a lot cheaper. Piracy has saved me thousands of dollars, it's great.
I also never seed and delete torrents as soon as they're complete

It's not just about saving money, all the cool books are out of print. Book shops are for npc women now

you must be a high earner to buy stuff like that

It was 200 eurobucks from Avito.ru. That's not expensive at all for a smartphone, let alone for one with two screens.

I've never heard of them, but I see they can be flipped over, I thought it was a single e ink screen which would be dumb

This is what I do, also works in situations where people get pissy about reading, like at work.

There aren't even any good torrents for books anyway. Everything's either on mega or b-ok.

Very rarely when I can't get a proper conversion for my kindle3. I have an extremely cheap and underpowered tablet from over a decade ago that my housemate at the time got with his smartphone that he gave to me. I myself don't have a smartphone at all and never have and never will, so occasionally I'll use the shitty tablet to read PDFs, but not in the last couple years. I've been able to find most things as epub for calibre to convert, and the PDFs are sitting in a folder and I might just wind up getting physical copies because the tablet's really really annoying.

Why would you get this? Just looking at it infuriates me

i have koreader on my phone and ereader and i sync the books folder between both of them. i read on my phone when im waiting for something (appointment, train, long line etc) instead of using social media.
