20032498 No.20032498 [Reply] [Original]

>There is sex scene between man and woman plus the author desribes the sexiness of a woman
>Therefore it is such objectification to woman. The author views her as merely something to be exploited

Houellebecq will agree with this. By the way, happy International women’s day, anon.

Fun fact. You can have a sexy woman and sex scenes without making the character an object or Mary Sue.

I don't really care because I don't read any novel or book written after 1900, but what's important is that I really want to cum on Kat's face.

Do not women objectify themselves? They spend so much time making themselves appealing visually to attract attention to themselves. Women and men objectify women. It’s like black people getting mad at the n word, Yet call each other it. I don’t want to hear it because you’re either a hypocrite or there is a major flaw in your logic. Women make me so mad, they spend all their time making themselves pretty and neglect the mind, because if this they are attractive yet say stupid stuff like this.
This is a parenthetical, but in regulates to rape… so women act like rape is the worst thing that can happen to someone right? Well what do they say when someone gets arrested for rape?
>oh I hope some big black guy gives him what he deserves. I hope he gets raped in prison.
So they aren’t really against rape, they just want the right people to be raped.

It is in the male brain to objectify everything - to see the world as a collection of tools to be exploited as means to certain ends. It is fundamental, it cannot be changed.

It doesn’t matter what women like it matters what they read.
Women don’t like women gets chopped up by crazed serial killer books but they can’t stop themselves from buying and reading them. They sell much much better than feminist “you go girl” books.

"Her", which in this case means a fictional character. I mean, it's a character the author has created. I know authors talk about having empathy for their characters and whatnot, but at the end of the day you are exploiting the character by writing about them regardless of how sexy you describe them.

The chain of logic seems to go something like this: there's a woman - she's described in a sexual way - this may impact the world in a negative way (reinforces stereotypes or a similar claim). This chain of logic has always seemed suspect to me.

>Men objectify women
>This is seen as a negative because it is denying her personhood
>Men don't show affection to other men, because it's gay
>Men show affection to inanimate objects
>Affection is inherently a sign of esteem or favor
>i.e. "She's a beautiful vessel" "I love my car, how can you not when you hear her purr" "Yeah the Telecaster, she's my baby"
>A Man feminizes that which he has have affection for?

They objectify themselves, yes. But they blame men for it.
Always remember, Anon, women can never be held responsible for any of their actions, to do so would be the utmost height of misogyny and we are all better than that.

Yes, what we should be doing is mercilessly treating all the women in our books as unattractive, rather than describing them as beautiful. Here is an example of pro-feminist writing:

>the gross fat bitch snorted as he mounted her. Remnants of yesterday’s pizza seeped out from between the folds in her fat, grease, tomato sauce and slimey mossarella, stringy and semi-melted by her body temperature, as his attempts to clamber on top exposed the various pockets of air around her waist. The smell was almost too much to fathom; he grimaced, took a quick breath in through his mouth, and forced his cock through the undulating rolls that obscured the hideous axe wound beneath.

I feel like the issue is massively overblown, like all feminist issues are these days, but I can’t stand overtly horny authors. In the specific tone of some books it fits, but in others it completely takes me out of the moment when the whole narrative grinds to a halt so the author can use his most grandiose prose to describe a pair of booba or a girls horny disposition, or a graphic sex scene. Most of the time I just see him sat behind his keyboard viciously tugging his intellectually stimulated penis. This is one of many reasons why I’ll never read ASOIF
