What's the primary purpose of a university degree?
Most in the states argue it's so you can get a corresponding job, but isn't that just trade school? If you're going to claim it's for the sake of academic pursuit, then it wouldn't make sense to ban any sort of book.

The third option would be mass brain washing, and if that's the case, then yes, banning Dostoevsky does absolutely make sense.
