If you think Rumi is above the Quran (and therefore a higher authority than Allah) then you are not a Muslim desu. The Quran refers to the path as one path over and over and other paths as deviation

They are arguing for complete different philosophies and metaphysics.
So the "list" doesn't really point to anything else than the authors being le based pundits? Very cool indeed, you are so traditional.

If I had to guess, based on the priority of Shankara, Platonists, and Muslims the list is supposed to be of substance monists, or of philosophers seeming to have atman-equivalents as per tardlarp exegesis. What confirms this was the intention is that the list seems to have gone out of its way to include several Buddhists: Dolpopa (Tibetan), Dorje (Tibetan), and Asanga (Indian), probably because of uncritical acceptance of Gelug doxographers reading of these Buddhists' readings of tathagatagarbha as being heterodox to the prasangika Madhyamaka of Nagarjuna, Chandrakirti, and Tsongkapa. In any case it would probably take the average person years of study to understand that particular debate front and back. I can only imagine how muddled the rest of the list is.

he's still here, he was more active in 2021 but only in antibuddhism threads and the jivas are brahman / jivas are not brahman endless debate. he still mostly recommends sharma so he partly just ran out of material, probably got boring even for him.

i like that /lit/ is now able to talk about guenon without him being involved again, i see guenon come up when its actually relevant more often now and without it spiraling into a meme conversation.

there was a philosophy major anon here who told someone he will never have an original thought.
he's right. people like you have their head filled with a bunch of garbage ideas that are not even original, it's just that you don't know they aren't.
other people, who are not obsessed with illusory originiality-- and care about truth instead, read books with good thoughts, and their thoughts are better than yours.
