This isn't true. Without banks, I couldn't get the credit I need to pay for things I want. Banks offer a service, money with a time preference like loans, and they also protect your funds.

Marxbros…I thought Capitalism developed in premodern western europe. We historicized it as to make it seem easy to attack and eliminate it, capitalism is not some eternal thing like my STUPID reactionary family (another pernicious construct of Capital) members think. The proof is that there were never any wars anywhere in the global village prior to the 1500s.

This is probably not true. Most companies are harmed by war, hence why it hurts the stock market so much. If weapon companies are able to coerce the government into war, why are other companies not able to coerce the government away from war when they far outnumber those who would profit from war?
