I remember when I found this guy cringe and a little too old to be doing this hipster routine. That was ten years ago and he's still doing it. Does he still wear fingerless gloves indoors?

I like reading at the coffee shop. I do it from ~6 to 8am everyday. I spend $3 with tip, get to say hi to the nice baristas. It’s a quiet enough space with headphones where no one engages with me. I love living with my girlfriend but we talk in the mornings, and I have this space and time to myself.

>> No.19929677

>>19929658
Me and my roommate in college would fart in our apartment and then make moaning sounds as loud as we could to get some laughs. One time I was at the library and had my headphones in, sitting my some sorority chicks and other people. I was pretty tuned-in on the stuff I was working at the time and felt a fart coming on so I let it rip as if I was in my apartment. Did the loud moan and everything too, and a bunch of people got up around me and moved to a different spot. Was pretty good.

And yes I like to read in public for attention because pleb fags deserve to get flexed on.

it non nonsequitur. I assume she is ugly because you you leave to lust over baristas. I assume she is annoying because she wont give you peace in the moring to read. So the only to reasons you read in public is because you have an annoying ugly gf.

i'm not the other poster i'm just saying from a shitpost critique perspective you weren't in enough of a dispute or anything with him to justify "i bet ur gfs ugly bro" so it seems mean spirited in a kind of rootless pointless way, rather than exaggerated hostility like most shitposts (funny) it smells a bit more like normie status grubbing

just my two cents

>> No.19929818

I don't like reading in coffee shops or anything like that but I do unironically go to my local library to read. it's comfy as fuck on a weekend morning. just gotta watch the homeless, they are loud and on their phones and many of them just have shit manners.

I’m very attracted to her and it’s not because she’s annoying but because I want to talk to her too and that interrupts reading time. I like my morning routine and it’s ok that you don’t.

It’s very bizarre you take this hostile tone with me. I think it’s just fine that you choose to read at home. If you wanted to own me in the marketplace of ideas, good job.

I think it's funny that the only way you could justify having a friendly relationship with a barista is because of lust. I go to the same Cafe every day, the barista is a bro; he sometimes pours me a cup of whatever he's got batch brewed while he makes my coffee and we chat.

lol clifford lee sargent or whatever the fuck his pretentious sounding name is such a poseur but i cant hate on him too much because i like a bunch of the same books. i cant get over what a posturing narcissist this guy is though its simultaneous hilarious and embarrassing. he actually wouldnt trigger me at all if he simply had bad taste. its the fact that he (usually) reads good books and is also cringe that i find irritating.

anyway, i prefer to read at home and always do unless i have some reason to be out, like if i am travelling.

just throwing in my two cents here, its not "bizarre" at all if you've spent any amount of time on this website. i hate that people here call everything reddit but your stupid blog post about your girlfriend and getting to say hi to baristas and how much you love life is honestly the most reddit thing i've read on this site in a long time. redditors are obsessed with somehow bringing up the fact that they have a girlfriend at every possible juncture and that type of corny shit is catnip for the ogres on this site. i'm actually shocked you didnt get flamed by more people even more aggressively.

This is only because americans believe reading is a difficult and undersirable task which is only enjoyable if you are rewarded by teachers, parents - which makes doing it in public seem as if you are seeking some sort of reward.
Then there are normal people, outside america, who just enjoy doing it, and do it where they feel like doing it.
