Assuming it's legit, what it's actually showing is words which make the other gender go "huh?" Women have many words which are confined to their gender role, so men have no need to learn half of them. Men however only get far enough away from women to never talk to a woman about far fewer words.
Shemale is the kind of nonPC locker room talk that men are unlikely to use in front of a woman, but it's common enough in culture that about half of women will have heard and understood it.

Damask and parsec are common enough that about 40% of the opposite genders have heard of them through some exposure. However, those exposures get twice as common if you're in the gender they're assigned to.

Basically what this chart shows is that even if only half of all men know what an aileron is, one of them will tell their gf who will listen, while if most women tie their hair in a chignon, their bf will not notice.
