Greek thought after Socrates was a lot more analytical and focused a lot on practical philosophy. There's a lot of virtue ethics and proper ways of action in Greek thought, and a lot of reasoning as to why that is the right approach.

Indian Philosophy was a lot more metaphysical (hindu) and at the same time had a strong skepticist streak (Buddhism, Jainism). Epistemology was big in India among both Hindus and Buddhists.

Indian Philosophy was more theophoric in general and they tried to adhere to a "canonical" scripture such as the later Christians did with the Bible. Greek philosophers had no such thing.

I haven't read any Indian "philosophy" (not actual philosophy, by the way) because it's irrelevant.
Start with the presocratics, then Plato, then Aristotle. These alone can take more than a year. Come back later for more.

Read them yourself and come to your own conclusion based on your own reasoning and life experiences.

When the Abbasid caliphate, stretching from Spain to the Hindu Kush, entered its great translation project, weighing indic against Greek philosophy, they went with Greek. Aristotle and neoplatonism in particular. However when it came to mathematics the Greeks were found wanting and they went with Hindu algebra. When it came to medicine, they just mashed it all together
