Celebrities don't write their biographies. That means most of the stuff is made up by a hired ghostwriter. Tyson was a good fighter, also a retard, junkie, a rapist, a nigg. That's all you need to know.

Haven't read many biographies but I liked Snowden's.

Bukowski, even though his material isn't fully autobiographical he is still self-inserting himself.
I also enjoyed "Story of a Pimp" by Iceberg Slim.
The autobiography of Mötley Crüe, The Dirt, was also a pretty fun read when I was a teenager, some golden, degenerate moments sprinkled all through the book.

nah, he at least had read a wiki article as he knew how the Greeks used to have a warrior cult around him and things you wouldn't get off a movie. I'm not saying he's Kant or anything but he's probably got a similar level of expertise as your average /lit/ poster. You know don't judge a book by its cover anon. I remember watching something with him on it and he brought up a good obversation about how all great conquerors were essentially momma's boys. He also supposedly offered anyone money who would marry his daughter because he knew she was ass ugly. Plus he beats women so he's okay in my book.

I’m genuinely interested in his bio. The fact that he was an impoverished and abused youth from Brownstown somehow avoiding the criminal justice system and subsequently becoming one of the most iconic and tragic figures in sports history is fascinating.

Anyone that rights him off because of his terrible behavior and crimes probably should keep their moralizing reading in the Harry Potter universe. It’s safer there.
