Nietzsche applies slave and master morality to the history of philosophy as an attempt to explain his model and build up a mythology (because he was trying to be the next Jesus) but to take hims seriously when he does this you have to suspend your disbelief and assume that all interpretation of history is completely arbitrary and the "hellens" can be whatever you want them to and appollonian and dionysian cults can have believed whatever you want them to and all history is arbitrary and can be interpreted according to whatever model regardless of the actual facts.
