Thoughts on this guy? "Doomer" fiction tends to get a lot of hate on /lit/ but this guy has a unique slant on the genre, and was writing way before it became trendy to hate yourself.

I hate you so much OP. I really do. I hate every fag that pulls this shit. Just fucking include the name in the title or something
>TEE HEE YOU SHOULD KNOW WHO THIS IS :)
go fuck yourself

hello, OP here.
you are incredibly based and saw through my ruse. this is a random jpeg of a complete nobody.
i also detest the type of faggotry you have perfectly outlined, but since it is so prevalent on /lit/ i assumed people would pretend to know who this was. i hope you see this thread again to share in my little chuckle. good night =)

Of course I know Rollin Heber Neale, he was pastor of the 1st Baptist church in Needham, Massachusetts In 1837. He was one of the most eloquent and successful preachers of his day. He published "The Burning Bush" and many sermons and addresses.

Just found him. Very clever OP, posting a pic of some random dude and trying to see if we'd fall for the b8 of pretending like we knew who he was and/or making us feel like plebs because we didn't lmao.

the ruse has ended
>just found him
as though it required effort. you just used image search.
nice try at being clever, but three posts above you i have already come clean
confirmed that /lit/ uses the reverse image search instead of just stating the subject author's name

Good.
>as though it required effort. you just used image search.
Counts as a noteworthy effort in my book. Reverse image search doesn't pull the reverend's name straight up right away and I might've just ignored this thread altogether but for his looking interesting enough for me to investigate (and the fact that I don't like not knowing important people).
> nice try at being clever
Not trying to be clever, just calling you out, boy.
> but three posts above you i have already come clean
You mean >>19775705? Yeah, no. The post above mine IDs him though.
>confirmed that /lit/ uses the reverse image search instead of just stating the subject author's name
You wish. I could tell by your little ruse that you were one of those anons that got pissy about people discussing (the work of) some picrel without outright naming them, but you're wrong; nine times out of ten, it's obvious who the picrel is for anyone who's read them (read: the anons whose opinions are worth something in said thread) and it's simply you're fault for being a pleb and not being able to recognize the person in question's countenance outright.
