Not a novel, but I’d say this book is about as anti-nihilistic as anything I’ve ever read gets besides Stoic philosophy. Everything else in some way or another either leads to pessimism or to nihilism due to presenting excessively high expectations for how humans ought to behave and what kind of rewards people ought to deserve for their actions.

Religion and Nothingness by Keiji Nishitani tries to locate the source of nihilism in the West and explains how it can be overcome with the help of some old Eastern ideas. Interesting Japanese philosopher who, aside from understanding his own country's philosophic tradition, was conversant with the works of Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Heidegger.

The only way to overcome nihilism is through an even greater nihilism that conceives of everything as the product of a creative nothingness rather than a hollow void. This will enable you to reinterpret existence as fundamentally playful in nature.

"Say to the careworn man, as joy passes so does care."

This is a short Arabic poem but it does have a very deep meaning. Helps me out when I'm feeling sad.
