Any books where the protagonist either starts out hating women, or during the course of the book realizes he hates women?

Bonus points if he murders or beats the shit out of women, rapes them or anything else. Preferably not where he's just a wife-beater, I want the women to just be random whores on the street or coworkers or something.

I don't know if this is a spoiler (this philosophy is exposed right away as far as the progression of the story goes), but Alan Moore's "From Hell" is a very esoteric and metaphysical take on the Jack the Ripper story, and this time around, the killer is this elderly surgeon working for the Queen who has this absurd misogynist philosophy that extends all the way back into the days where humanity stopped worshiping the feminine and started worshiping the masculine, and who murders whores as part of a conspiracy but also to suppress the feminine spirit or some thing. It's REALLY good, but it's a graphic novel rather than a novel.
