What would I gain from reading him? Give me something tangible that I could not have gained from a philosopher of antiquity or descartes.

Read about him first. Then read him. For one, you'd be less of a fag. Second, you'd realize Kant went more meta than the ancients. The ancients and descartes went metaphysical, Kant went transcendental by investigating whether what we call metaphysics is just our imagination running wild, or if there is some truth in metaphysics, and how is true metaphysics even possible. There's even more depths to plunge. Now go read Kant and stop being a fag, a pseud, and a cunt dogmatic retard.

I've made it my goal to read Kant every year for the past 11 years. I'm not ready to give up, but it's probably time I recognize that I'm just not cut out for serious intellectual pursuits.

Baby steps bro. You don't take the the whole dick in all at once. That hurts. You ease in and use lube. Read the preface. Take a break. Read commentary on preface. Take a break. Read intro. Take a break. Read commentary on intro. Take a break. And so on and so on. (sniff).
