i've always like to read because i can picture the images of what i'm reading into my head, it is sort of like watching a movie.
that plus my desire to learn new things make reading my 3rd favorite thing to do (after gaming and surfing the web)
i realize that not everyone is like me in this sense but i think that people should put more effort into it.
