Okay there, Hercules. I personally don't really give a shit how "authentic" my girlfriend's interests are. It's not my place or desire to judge her on something as silly and unnecessary. I'm too caught up in my own interests to pay all that much attention, you know? What's more important is that we're there for each other and support one another come rain or shine. It's more important that we have a deep connection than that we share interests. I sometimes do things I don't particularly care for just so I get to spend some time with her, and she does the same thing for me. The way I see it, if two people really "get" each other and are willing to put the effort in, the rest kind of fades away.
