So I just finished reading this fucking piece of shit and I'm only left with this feeling that I should really listen to /lit/ when they recommend me what to read.

Fucking ending, fucking author, fucking series, fuck everything.

Only mad because Finnick and Prim get killed off, that shit was completely unnecessary. And ending with Peeta? Fuck.Still more hurt about Prim though.

Prim shouldn't have died, and she should have ended with that other guy... what was his name... Hunter? Man, fuck Peeta though. He's a wreck.

First Book: 8/10
Second Book: 6/10
Third Book: 2/10

read 30 pages of book 3 and closed it

haven't opened it since

Book 1 and 3 were the best. I don't know why people hate book 3 so much.

Perhaps you're all on the bandwagon.

Because of the ending. And the author kills about 8 characters in about 20 pages just to show she can.

Oh really?

Name 8 characters that get killed in 20 pages then.

I disliked Mockingjay but it had nothing to do with the killed off characters. I can't enjoy a book when the only person I get to see through is an PTSD riddled, empty shell and wreck of a human being who has a breakdown every chapter. Katniss as a 1st person narrator is fine in the first book. It's very limiting in book three. It shouldn't have been a series and instead fleshed out a lot in book 1.

Mitch, Boggs, Castor, Messalla, Finnick, Leeg 1 and 2, and Jackson.

Yeah, that too, doesn't seem the character progresses towards the end except that she doesn't give a shit about killing anymore.
