It's good. Easier to read than literal translations, but I don't think it's as much a Dalton translation as much as a Dalton rewording, because translation errors that exist in the old Stalag edition also exist in the Ford Translation and the Dalton translation. I think they both copied off Stalag; but Dalton also included shortened versions of the Reynaul & Hitchcock annotations.

Both of my two books on circumcision are vehemently anti-circumcision, which I read to help defend my choice to keep my sons whole (not circumcised). I think it's the most rational and ethical choice, to permit them to have their whole body, despite what popular culture says. But many people in the trailerparkville I live in don't understand. Hence, I studied the subject. Problem, rabbi?

You literally could've just pointed to the Book of Acts and the Letter to the Romans in the Bible or the Council of Florence outside the Bible to do that; the first two which tell Gentiles not to circumcise, in addition to the other NT books where Paul and the others condemn "Judaizers" for pushing circumcision on Christian converts, and the third declaring the actual act a "mortal sin."

Gravity and Grace contains some gems but you'll have to patiently read through a lot of bad analogies to get to them. I get the feeling she was an unabashed syncretist, aware of the same silence of God the indus, the greeks, and Eckhart knew about but not able to put it into a rigorous summa. No one can. So poetry it is: lots of hypotheticals stated as fact, not for me sadly.

At the hospital for both my son's, the crazies kept asking if we were sure we didn't want them cutting their little Johnson's. I said no, my kids name ain't Abelard, nor is it Sarrasine.

They asked 3 times at the hospital. The pediatrician was on my side. He kept his kids from the knife too.

>The bible contradicts itself more often than not, which is why I'm non religious.
I fail to see the contradiction, or how what your post says bears any relevance to what I said. Circumcision was part of the Mosaic Law of the Old Covenant for Jews; the Old Covenant was fulfilled by Jesus who brought forth the New Covenant, which declared circumcision and the "ritual" laws as not being required anymore; furious by this, Jews tried to convince unsuspecting Christian converts in and around Greece that they had to circumcise and practice the Jewish rituals to become one of God's people and the early Christian leaders told them to fuck off. If you're non-religious, then you don't need books to justify not practicing circumcision when the religious, who aren't Jews or Protestants, not only don't practice it but declare any non-medical use of it to be body mutilation and thus a sin.
>Therefore it strictly orders all who glory in the name of Christian, not to practice circumcision either before or after baptism, since whether or not they place their hope in it, it cannot possibly be observed without loss of eternal salvation. (Council of Florence, Session 11—4 February 1442)

Those are both drivers, I would go with the Makita 18v sub compact at hd for 100 with a bag and charger. It's quiet, easy to hold, and almost as strong as the DeWalt (1500 vs 1870 torques). You don't need the DeWalt unless you're doing timber lags all day or more than 10 rss. The Makita has finer control too. I use it for cabinetry/fine woodworking because festool is too pricey.

My house is concrete so I have the Bosch hammer for hammer drilling on itbto afix things like water and the shutters.
