Speaking specifically for Europe and its descendants, we have successfully distilled all the morality in Christianity in to a written canon in the form of classical literature, the bible is irrelevant now. Combine that with the binding ethnic stories of our respective distant pasts and you have a solid and more legitimate basis for a ethics system. Blood and soil, people and land. This is antithetical to Christian thought as the 'the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. Modern Christian thought is contemptible of both ethnic divisions and historical culture.

Perhaps, I can not truthfully deny it. But the real draw is the connection with a history, people and culture that goes back in time. Christianity is none of these thinks, it is a tumor in the West that is responsible for the current situation.
