I read the Bible in Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic, and I use the ESV. Why? Because my Bible software selects it by default. Any translation you read will have problems. Every manuscript has flaws. I suggest that you investigate the things about the ESV that bother you among scholars since they bother you so. I also suggest that you calm down take it easy, look at a bunch of English translations, and find the one that is easiest and most enjoyable to read.
