Any Novels that are Cathilic Sci Fi? LotR is Catholic fantasy, is there a sci fi counterpart?

Nearly Catholic, I suppose. The last of the trilogy is the best and can be read as a stand alone.

Written by a priest, obviously about the anti-christ, it's set in the 21 century with some surprisengly acurate predictions (written in 1911).

the funny thing about lord of the world is that i noticed myself feeling all around fairly underwhelmed by it for the specific reason that all the horrible dystopian shit that might have engaged and shocked a reader in 1911 was all stuff i've become desensitized and acclimatized to in the 21st century
