Where do I go to learn proper form in poetry?

I've been trying to practice writing stuff out in meter and iambic form but it's very difficult. Is there any specific thing to practice or read to learn? Or should I just keep trying every day

Stephen Fry, Ode Less Travelled.

Metre isn't very difficult once you get the hang of it. It's pretty intuitive after you read a bit of regular verse like, say, Pope.

I recommend checking out the wiki page, actually. You can pick any of the recommended books, you don't have to read them all. They teach the same stuff. Harold Bloom personally recommended Hollander's book to me, so that's the one I always suggest.
