Almost finished Faustian Futurist. Literally can't tell if this guy is completely sincere, hiding his power level and engaging in all sorts of misdirection, or a glowie.
If what he says about how he was supposed to be running the (((Alt Right))) is true, then I think the later is probably correct. He's some deep state operative who's goal was to steer the emerging far right in a direction more consistent with the foreign policy aims of the deep state.

I read the intros to a few of his books (he used to teach at my uni, never got a class with him unfortunately). He seems a bit whacky and definitely high off his own farts. A few gems from what I recall:
>Lovers of Sophia
Aryan is a spiritual orientation, not a physical race (something echoed in Evola too). He deduces later that Bruce Lee is actually Aryan.
>Iranian Leviathan
He calls himself Iran's version of Thomas Hobbes both in terms of thought and historical importance.
>Prometheus and Atlas
There is a coming war between humanity and ghosts, and Japan is going to be best-suited to take this on because of anime like Evangelion and Lain. I'm not fucking kidding, there's even an interview on YouTube about gnosticism where he briefly discusses this idea.

>>19353897
>deep state operative
He got kicked out of a public university over a private conversation and now spouts progressive talking points in a desperate move to get his job back. That's either a real elaborate false flag or proof that he's not in with them.
>steer the emerging far right in a direction more consistent with the foreign policy aims of the deep state
I thought he was anti-interventionist? He made a real stink about Trump's missile strikes in Syria and hostilities toward Iran. He also simped for Gabbard.

He is a glowie who admitted to having connection to CIA for an "Indo-European imperium" in the past (note, he deleted the article but I can try to find it archived).
I his overall goal is about emasculating Iranian Americans into becoming a vassal of America. He even goes as far as calling Ashkenazi Aryans, and saying Iranians need to bioengineer themselves to become blue eyed and blonde haired again in Iranian Leviathan. The goal is to prey on Iranian diaspora inferiority complex and use them as a fifth column against Iran.
He also dislikes the Sassanids because of secular reasons and prefers Mithraism's amoral perspective of life. He is a moron who fails to realize there would be no Iranian identity without the Sassanids. The word Iran itself comes from the Sassanids.
He has a weird kind of identity crisis as a descendant of Qajar Turkic trash mixed with European.
Also, he plagiarized me a bit after I shared a short story. However, he interpreted my horror story in a way that disgusts me. What he's arguing in favor for is what I was portraying negatively.

Ideally that's how foreign policy should publicly appear. If the CIA wasn't filled with morons regime change should appear as a result of domestic affairs developing totally within foreign nations and not require any public interventions

One of his most recent articles actually said he would support America in an invasion of Iran:
"I would put America first even if it meant backing someone who has threatened the territorial integrity of Iran."
I have to find the article again. Keep in mind, he deletes his articles often.

Could very well be that he fell out of favour with them and became a liability.
>I thought he was anti-interventionist
He wants some kind of NATO-esque "Indo-Europen" federation to surround China. Somehow it would include Japan cuz Budhism makes them Indo-European.

I was drawn in by the way he communicated Heidegger's philosophy, beautiful, simple, yet not reductive.
And then I found out that he believes in all these weird so-called paranormal phenomenon, and it struck me as odd, that a person can hold both of these in their mind.
There's something childlike to his character, pure and open, but soft at setting limits.

How can something be weird if it's quite common and "so-called" when it quite clearly is paranormal.

He plagiarized me a bit in Iranian Leviathan.
When he talks about Zurvanism and Mithra(s) in an edgelord way and about the Faustian drive of transcending good and evil, he got that from my short horror story. Granted, I was subtly criticizing that tendency.
I shared it with him and asked if he could connect me to a literary agent. He praised my story and said he'll get back to me with a connection. He never did.
I did publish it in a literary journal though.

What Evola said of America is a backroom spectre latent in his thought if only he was not a 'native' New Yorker and misses the greater part of the frontier Faustian spirit that would propel America into an unbound hegemon. No one quite addresses the hyrid civilizational threats of singularity tech, breakaway groups hording it, and gene-editing arms races he does.

Helps to be familiar with his woo sources, or the leaps will befuddle. If this planet was seeded, we could have genetic cousins out there whose development is the end product of a permanent USSR, banker transhumanism ect. We have to go out there and find out, and fuck them up if so: endless Manifest Destiny.

Just the taint of New York shitlb, it's facetious and rhetorical, same as negotiating Mishlove's peccadillos in the name of friendship before they became estranged.
