I googled and couldn't find. I found a good translation but it's paperback and the hardcovers I find are by translators which don't seem to be in high regard.

Not OP but hardcovers are nice. I don't want my library to look like I can't afford books in good condition.

OP if you want a book and it's only printed in paperback, buy the paperback. Paperbacks still have words on the inside.

Lattimore for Homer. Hardcovers youre gonna have to find a 60s edition. New ones are only paperback. Iliad is good quality. The Odyssey from Harper may be the cheapest feeling book ive ever read.

I've heard the translations by Robert Fagles are the best. Hardcovers of his work are pretty easy to find on the big e-commerce websites.

Robert fitzgerald's homer and aeneid translations are available from in hardcover from Everyman. He is my candidate for best modern poet to have translated Homer ( He is also Harold Bloom approved).
