It's a terribly broken system, like pretty much every institution ever founded. It only gets worse as it gets older and its bureaucracy grows. I still like making $55 000 a year to start. Perhaps it's worse if you studied something more on the useless side but even friends of mine with degrees in philosophy and religion and film studies all have somewhat decent jobs. It's a dick that most people have to suck and the cum you swallow isn't all bad.

My writing isn't that great. If anything I should be getting a C+ on the papers I write.
Best example was an anthro class I recently was forced to take(upper division general ed!). We had to write a synopsis of the failures or successes of american immigrants. One was the Chinese americans, the other was a specific type of mexican immigrant, the yucatan.
I wrote that one of the successes of Chinese immigrants is that their women would stay home rather than work to look after their children, and that the men would then work 2 jobs. Their children were raised educated, and had low crime rates. To me (as a conservative), this was a major plus to their success.
She underlined this whole part and I got a C-.
Next was on the yucatan. I scanned the reading material and regurgitated her rantings from in class, and then I got a B+.
I recently read how a lot of elementary schools are taking away writing standardized testing. I think this was in Chicago. The rational behind this was that as long as the students 'get the picture', they don't need to write well.
Tell me that isn't brainwashing. Since when was writing not about structure instead of the ideas. They're destroying their fields of work with their politics.

If you truly believe that you were graded wrong I encourage you to post your papers so I can read them and give you an honest opinion of what you should get. Granted I don't grade papers for a living but I have a good enough sense to see what a "good writer" is opposed from someone who is outright bad.
