Has anyone had an inner transformation after many readings in literature and philosophy? Like an epiphany, the sudden inspiration to write (and drive to finish) something, a new feeling, something akin to enlightenment via knowledge, literary sense, aesthetics? Like: It was after finally doing an exhaustive reading of Hegel and the works of Victor Hugo that the moment of inspiration came, I suddenly ______.

Not really. Passions like that tend to develop over time and require lots of work. It's hard to find an author anywhere who wasn't a creature of habit.
