Zoroastrianism is not exactly a meme. It offers a form of mysticism that appeals to certain types of people. Basically, it is more overtly dualistic without viewing the material world as evil as Gnostics do. It appeals to people of a certain sensibility.
Pic related somewhat relates to my own interpretation of Zoroastrianism based on various texts like the Gathas and Mardanfarrokh's Doubt Removing Book. Top row is imbued by the spirit of Ahura Mazda, called Spenta Mainyu, whereas bottom row has the spirit of Ahriman, Angra Mainyu.
When it comes to artwork, I am drawn to dualistic extremes. For example, it has reached the point where I want my library to have nothing but artwork of the light (what I called spenta art) on the right side and artwork of darkness (what I call angra art) on the left. I read, watch, play games, and so forth according to this tradition of purification.
Activities like bird-watching and gardening (without pesticides and in an eco-friendly manner) can call forth the spirit of Ahura Mazda, Spenta Mainyu, into one's mind.

Manichaeists view material world as tainted by evil. They are also antinatalistic. You're correct that there are a lot of metaphysical parallels. I've read the Cologne Mani Codex.

Note, I meant to say Zoroastrians do not view material world as tainted by evil. They also do not promote antinatalism.
There are some similarities between Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism such as emphasis on dualistic metaphysics, but there are many key differences too.

One thing I want to make clear is that a Zoroastrian Iran would be 1000x more imposing and based than Islam. What makes Zoroastrianism better than Islam is that it is more eco-minded as Jean Chardin rightly pointed out a long time. Iran has heavy pollution and problems with illegal fur trade of innocent squirrels in Rasht, and the growth of Zoroastrianism can help fix these issues.
The problem with Abrahamism is it offers cucked possibility of redemption whereas many Zoroastrians think most depraved people are beyond possibility of purification, so they outright executed them. Likewise, many Zoroastrian sects like Mazdakites and others promoted caring for animal welfare.
The goal is to create a happy and idyllic permaculture like community such as Harvest Moon, one which is preferably either lacto-ovo vegetarian or pescetarian since eating red meat or birds is impure. There can be no room for homosexuals, trannies, adulterers, subversive edgelords, or other deviants.
Older Harvest Moon titles do, indeed, align with how much of the Zoroastrian scriptures describe paradise. Note, even the old English word "paradise" has Old Avestan origins! "Pairi daeza" means "walled garden" in Old Avestan. Anyways, in many respects, the Shinto conception of purity and cleanliness has many parallels with Zoroastrian Spenta Mainyu.
I want you to take a step back and just look at this picture. Can you not experience the glory and splendor of God from immersing yourself into it? If it requires eugenic measures to achieve this harmony and alignment with Spenta Mainyu, then so be it.
I believe Scottish rural community was close to Spenta Mainyu for example. You truly feel this from artwork like Three Lives of Thomasina.
Stuff like stoning adulterers, homosexuals, and so forth all have precedence in Zoroastrianism. Note, it is preferable for a society to be either monogamous *or* polygynous, and they can coexist in some sense. The purpose of violence is to protect the divine light.
If you want to begin with purification, then start with your gut's biofilm. You may have intestinal parasites and require a proper cleaning. I recommend *green* black walnut tincture, wormwood, and cloves.

>would be 1000x more imposing and based than Islam
>is that it is more eco-minded
Anon.... I think you are coming at it from a completely wrong, and retarded, and cringe angle.
Eco shit should be an EXTRAPOLATION, if that, not the ends in itself. If your first question is about the state of the ecology rather than some internal metaphysical stuff, I really think you might be more of a larping modernist atheist with Utilitarian rather than religious sensibilities as your a a priori notion, after a (petty) aesthetic.

Anyways, do you think Iran is like it is today because of its Abrahamic Beliefs, or because it is a developing country that didnt have the robust administration of europe or Japan? And by that fact, it kinda breaks your whole shit when China, a non abrahamist country, is probably moreso, if not worse in that regard? Also
>Illegal fur trade of innocent squirrels in Rasht
Nigger, do you think people WERENT trading furs before the Muslims?
Also, for some reason people have this flowery veiw of Zoroastrianism, guess its easy to project on things we dont have nearly as much info on. There were also muslim and Christian sects that were strictly or largely pescatarian. And many Zoros wherent either. It was often used as a court religion to bring in various disprite groups together.

Now this isnt against eco stuff in general, just that it should be an extrapolated notion from a more intiment revalation than it being the ENDS IN ITSELF.

Parts of various scripture, many mobed, and various movements of Zoroastrianism like Mazdakism corroborate what I'm saying.
The point is, there is purity vs. impurity, good vs. evil, and wisdom vs. lies. The wise choose good over evil and purity over impurity, and they do their best to banish the impurities and evil from this world.
See, look at this picture. What you see above the blue line is pure, close to the sacred. Below that line is impure, defiled. The goal is to eliminate all impure things in this world so one can have more of the top. Zoroastrianism is all about purification.

This is true, But my problem was with you saying it was eco-minded.
Its not eco-minded, One can extrapolate that as a form of praxis from it being PURITY MINDED.

My annoyance was that you worked backwards in justification rather than forwards.

Also, I still think your problems with Iran today are largely irrelevant to the country's current religion and has more to do with its geopolitical situation like I mentioned.
