Could be worse, could live in America.

And I get a big ass grant because my family's poor, and you only have to pay once you're earning over a certain amount.

Better than no education.

>>1926237

Good luck! What you planning on doing and where are you going?

Hopefully doing Archaeology at Queens. The fees are staying at 3k over here, just read it on the news this morning, so it could be worse.

I did the same thing. You'll feel better when you see what a bunch of idiots the 18 year old fresh out of high school kids are. In my opinion 20 is a much better age to start, you'll appreciate it more and do better because of that.

And don't get me started on the early college kids.

I didn't suggest you were? What I meant is the fee system in the UK is laughable in comparison to the U.S

in the uk u apply for a loan which nearly everyone gets and this is paid straight to the university. You dont have to personally pay anything until u earn 15k (or 21k if u start in 2012 +)

Microbiology.
The PhD deals with viruses and diabetes though so a bit out of my comfort zone.

And there is nothing wrong with this. Selfishness as a life philosophy and economic ideology is nonsensical and will ultimately lead to tribalism and destruction.

Or have you not noticed how things are going in the U.S. of A.?
