Feeling depressed and anxious today. I had mutiple small panic attack througout the day. I hate that I am like this, all it does is make life harder for me especially when it comes to forming meaningful relationship. On days like these, love feels like a pipe dream. Teaching has really red-pilled me on intelligence. By the time kids get to high school it is incredibly clear that the upper ceiling of their intelligence is very clearly defined and that they've reached a point where they simply cannot do any better, no matter how much teaching is involved. I have definitely have had students who had a lot of potential and just needed extra attention to help them reach that potential - which is where teaching is it's most rewarding - but I'm not talking about those kids. There are kids who are just hopelessly dumb and no amount of teaching will help them. Even in spite of this, society is set up so as to funnel these children into university anyway. Even if they bomb their final exams they can still get into tertiary education through alternative pathways. If they are men, they will usually do a trade or something they are actually useful for, but its the young women who are just funnelled into university because it is what their family expects which is the most frustrating thing to see. Then the universities will pass them because they are terrified of failing people and they will cruise through getting 51% but still technically qualifying for whatever meaningless degree they went into, at which point they are funnelled into the workplace where they become a burden on everyone around them.

This is really not controversial, but it is rude to acknowledge it these days. People - especially parents, but also lay people - assume some fault of the teacher if a student is not improving, but I have really come to realise that IQ is very inelastic. His heart stopped, and he quickly opened the thread to find more details.

But the thread was promptly deleted, presumably for being off-topic despite the usual contents of the board. "Fucking Jannies!" he blurted out, both in a panic and out of sheer muscle memory. Thankfully our protagonist had kept the thread tab opened in his browser, and in an all-too-familiar motion he took a quick screenshot of the mysterious post to place next to his folders full of black-and-white male model images, frogs, and crude cartoon drawings of a Polish man.

The message itself described that the nearby address is to be visited not later than a week of the post, which to him seemed like plenty of time. And yet, to poor Anon that seemed like that was the least of his problems.

"Oh God, did I just really get doxxed? What the fuck," his mind suddenly raced. "Shit, they were right, about everything... the glowies... about THEM... why didn't I listen?" his breathe intensifying harder than last night's visit to the NSFW board(s). "Fuck, fuck, fuck, calm down... ok, what's the worst that could happen," he began rationalizing. "Maybe I should just go, if they know that much about me then it must be important." he muttered quietly to himself at 1 AM. None of that was important, what is important is that the clock was ticking and this seemed to be important. He was going to do this. He was going to do what in his mind, was just a casual nightwalk like the internet memes he used to post so often before he deemed it "cringe" -- but this time, in his mind, was his opportunity to be based.

Never thinking he'd find himself in a situation like this, for the first time in years Anon was going to go outside. By choice.

I'm loathing school right now. I got fucked over in primary education and cannot perform basic mathematics. I excel in the humanities (when its something I like) and I'm just plain tired of the bullshit assignments here in college. Its a shitty situation when you can't get into STEM because if failing math so many times I'm pretty sure without my love of history and literature I'd be retarded. I probably am already.

Future prospects are bleak. I'm going for a history degree because its the only thing I enjoy and it requires the least amount of credits for my to graduate. I'm 25 and in my parents basement, I clean in a gym three days a week and the rest is spent on campus.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm self aware of my situation and I don't know how to fix it. Also society is in quite the pickle and I'm sure the founding fathers would be rolling in their graves.

Pornography and overeating fulfill a very similar role for me.
