Do you think I can get it done? I should lose like 20 or 30 pounds, too; I am going to OCS at the start of the year. Before that, I am also going to read a few of the soldiering manuals from the army on libgen.

It's all nonfiction, yeah? Easily doable.

Good luck, shit is gay. Hope you like sassy women candidates stinking up the chow hall and God forbid you get the rack at the front of the house that faces an all female platoon.

From your taste you seem pretty based and I’m assuming you may be hiding some better literature behind the white out. Whatever you do, make sure you walk the hardest path in the military. You will get, and I guarantee it, next to no respect from your subordinates if don’t. That is unless you’re some pog guy in supply.

Just working out isn't going to make you lose 20 pounds. You're going to need to cut your food intake too. You need a 3,500 calorie deficit to lose 1 lb. To lose 20 pounds that's 70,000 or 1000 calories per day.

If you're exercising like a machine, you can keep your diet the same and run a 1,000 calorie deficit, but that's going to be ~3 hours of ultra-intense exercise per day. This is NOT to say don't exercise, OCS is going suck a lot less if you're in good shape. It is to say that exercise alone probably won't be enough to lose 20 pounds in 70 days.

I have spent my entire life being polite/professional to people I hate because I hate 95+% of them.

It's best to bounce around lest you get bored. I read a Truman bio a few months ago, so I have avoided Eisenhower for a bit.

If you're joining the officer corps of the the US military you should skip all the biographies of great men and military history and go straight to the gender theory

10,000 / 70 = ~142.8

If you aim for 300 pages instead of 150, you could probably do it. That is still a LOT of dedication, especially considering the density of these texts.

I just took one of their personalized career surveys and it gave me results. I answered it as if I wanted to go into combat immediately.
