If that book sparks your interest I'm pretty sure you won't find anything original in there that you didn't already know. Fighting = good, friendship = good, being good at stuff and having a spine = good, effeminate modern society = bad, being a lazy fatass = bad, toxic masculinity = not actually toxic, etc.
Depending on how much you pondered the topic already it might put thought into words that you did not yet formulate. Plus it won't take up much time as it's short and effortless to read.
He does put hyperlinks in the footnotes as sources sometimes which I find a bit cringeworthy but then again you read it for the content not the academic standard.

It's got some interesting sections, but it's flawed enough that I wouldn't blindly recommend it. I've recommended it only once, and only because I knew the person well enough to know he would be smart enough to take the good parts at face value and discard the bullshit.
