Well of course psychology lacks the mystic subjectivism of philosophy, it's a concrete science with proven methods and effects. Perhaps /x/ is more your speed, since they also believe that their "philosophy" takes precedent over psychology itself.

You know some psychologists actually approach their patients as a philosophy teacher would? Apparently it works pretty well. A friend of my mom supposedly had good results with schizos by teaching and getting them to read Descartes and Husserl.
