Check out the collected writings of Sri Śaṅkarācārya (pbuh), wherein he BTFO's the arguments of materialists and buddhists alike who both deny the divine innermost spark

Nice sequence, is there any book to have a general overall context of what I'm getting myself into, or should I just research a bit about each particular book as I move on, or just throw myself in irregardless?

If you have never read much primary source Indian philosophy before, then I would strongly recommend reading this short book on Vedanta first (the type of Indian philosophy that it is) by Rene Guenon before reading through the list of Śaṅkarācārya's works provided above. It teaches you the meaning of 90-95% of the Sanskrit words with unique or unique philosophical/metaphysical meanings that come up often in Śaṅkarācārya's writings, after reading it you should be good to read through all of his works, aside from maybe looking up one word here or there on rare occasions.

Śaṅkarācārya BTFO's buddhist self-deniers so hard, that there is literally a butthurt buddhist who goes around in every /lit/ thread posting a copy-pasta about how you shouldn't read him, it's only a matter of time until he shows up in here probably. I recommend reading all of Śaṅkarācārya's Upanishad commentaries before his other works, since the latter derive many important teachings from the former, but in the order listed above they are already ranked that way from top to bottom aside from a brief 2-3 page intro text listed first.

Hey thanks man, still plowing through the Bronze Age and the Greeks so haven't yet found a gate whereto scout out the East. If Guenón be my initiator then so be it inshallah. I may as well ask if you know of any books that are contact-points between Greeks and India or Christians and India. Where they have met so to say

Yes, 'The Shape of Ancient Thought' by McEvilley for possible ancient/classical/late-antiquity interactions and influences between India and the Mediterranean. For Hindu-Christ intellectual exchange in particular I would say 'The Routledge Handbook of Hindu-Christian Relations'. For those sorts of books I would recommend only checking them out after reading at least some Indian source material, because sometimes they don't have the time to explain the basics of every major Indian system from the ground-up which they expect the reader to already have some familiarity with.

I saw the spark of divinity in others, but could not find it within myself.
I have therefore concluded that it is my purpose to slaughter and consume the source of divinity, whichever form that may take. I believe that this is the kindest thing one can do.
