I have a friend who is the dumbest mother fucker I know. He’s really high energy, manic, ADHD, and for some reason thinks he’s really intelligent despite failing out of college and never reading, studying, or engaging in any intellectual activities ever. He sends me long, incoherent, and conspiratorial bombastic texts that remind me 100% of Nietzche. I’ve encouraged him to write because again, he’s indistinguishable at times from Nietzche, but he can’t manage to sit down and type anything in a sustained way or stay on task. I think on a long enough timeline he’ll even have a full on mental breakdown like Nietzche.

He was an elitist aristocrat and all around him the idea of aristocracy was failing in exchange for democracy and equality so he had a chip on his shoulder against all the "commoners." His books aren't for most people, they are for pretentious assholes who think they're better than everyone else. Before you can claim to be a student of Nietzsche you have to admit to yourself that you're an egocentric narcissist who despises normal people's happiness with peace, prosperity, and technological advancement, and also the christian morality that has allowed these things to blossom. He's perfect for nazis since nazis claim to reject everything modernity has bestowed upon us, including the technology that allows nazis to communicate with like minded collectivists.

If you can ignore all this, he was a pretty good writer.
