One of the many reasons why it’s obvious that most people on /lit/ don’t actually have any form of higher education is the lack of discussion of neo-platonians like Anicius Boethius and the big three of northern african theology (for the brainlets out there: Tertullian, Cyprian and Augustine of Hippo)
So, I would recommend reading at least Aristotle and Plato and then work your way along the late Roman philosophers
