Conversation in the Cathedral – Mario Vargas Llosa
Of Love and Shadows – Isabel Allende
Lunar Park – Bret Easton Ellis
Glamorama – Bret Easton Ellis
The Convent – Panos Karnezis
The Bad Girl – Mario Vargas Llosa
The New York Trilogy – Paul Auster
The Narrow Corner – W Somerset Maugham
Moby Dick – Herman Melville
Zorro – Isabel Allende
The Complete Short Stories – Franz Kafka

Been coming up with the list for a while*, now I've finalised it and am looking forward to getting them online.

*The funny thing is, I enjoy deciding what books to get and then finding them almost as much fun as reading them

hahaha keep them coming, bro

also make sure you start a few threads for each of these books when you start, are in the middle of, and have finished reading them.

Some people here say I use /lit/ like a blog, and maybe that's true, but at least I'm, you know, talking about literature. Can half the people here say the same?

Moby Dick is fantastic. I might re-read it next year.

Disliked Less Than Zero, liked American Psycho. I want to give him a chance to show off his stuff. Hopefully we won't get a Dan Brown or a James Patterson.

In all fairness, I've read 7 books of her's, and all were decent, good or great. None of her books seem to be bad.
