Nabokov truly is one of the greatest writers and literary critics of our time. It was about time somebody called out Dostoevsky's "ghastly rigamarole" and exposed Faulkner's work for what it really was

Fuck Georgism. It has only led to failed attempts at reform, which were always reversed by big rentiers and capital interests. Leftist politics would have been better served by adopting radical Marxism, instead of wasting 100 years on George.

I love YA literature, it's so relatable. The romance stories are always so well done, it's so exciting when there's two smoking hot guys who are both in love with the main character. My favourite series is rage of dragons, what is yours /lit/?

Or you could do it the way I did with music. Start in the18th century, then go forward and back simultaneously. Not sure what the equivalent in literature would be, though the 19th century is a an excellent start on one's way back up to Renaissance heights, which can be a bit forbidding.
