Well the Vedas are a pagan holy text so you should probably take a step back and re-evaluate what you think you know about the topic rather than persisting in confusion. The idea that there's going to be a central "holy text of paganism" that explains everything and outlines a religious code is, for lack of a better word, utterly retarded.
