I'm looking for collections of Asian poetry that are less than a hundred pages. Preferably older stuff, but doesn't have to be. Can be Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.
Recs pls.

The Clouds Float North by Yu Xuanji (868), China
The Narrow Road to the Interior by Matsuo Basho (1702), Japan it's also a travel memoir but it's directly tied into the haikus. you could just get some random Basho haiku collection but that's cheating, Narrow Road is his masterpiece)
Tangled Hair by Akiko Yosano (1901), Japan
The August Sleepwalker by Bei Dao (1988), China
Winter Sun: Poems by Shi Zhi (2012), China collects his poems from the 1960s to around the mid 2000s IIRC

Don't post your faggot links, we can find them ourselves. Just post the titles. Nobody wants to open a link to figure out what title you suggest. Your post is discarded.

OP here, thank you!
Looking for less than 100 pages because I'd like to be able to read them in three or less sittings.

sorry but as far as I can tell it's only physical so no piracy, it's on amazon unless you want to hunt for it in a store

Do you read poetry like you read fiction? Don't you stop and contemplate?

Exactly. "I want to be done with it in 3 sittings" is pathetic.

If the collection is short enough, I read it in a day, but I also take note of my favorite poems from the collection, add the entire thing as one of my favorite quotes on goodreads, and reread my favorites on a semi-regular basis.

I get where you're coming from, but the longer a book takes me to read, even if its really good, the more likely I am to lose interest because it's really hard to fit enough time into an ordinary week even for a short book, let alone a really long one. It may sound dumb but if I can finish multiple short books at a steadier pace, than my motivation to keep reading stays up. If I have the feeling of "ugh this is taking weeks and weeks" for just one book, then I struggle to keep up the momentum.
